It really looks very good. Father used to have a 1100 here whose owner was a western person working here for a couple of years.
I won't mislead you, but if this car was here I believe that people here would surely buy it, especially its price and left-hand steering wheel. Of cause! This 1100 can be imported, but won't get registered here according to the new law.
I would like to have a drive.

Our neighbour purchased a bright red 1100 the month they were introduced. We all admired its clean styling and it was the same colour as the fire engines. Around four years later it severed the brake line when the rear sub frame collapsed. That didn't stop my father buying a 1300 but he used to coat the subframe and mounting area with used engine oil. Not acceptable nowadays but it was still fine when he sold it some nine years later.
It's interesting how we have differing views as to the fun of driving the 1100 vs the 1800. The 1300 just never gave me the confidence and fun that the Mini and 1800 did. It would be interesting to analyse why as it is all quite subjective. Maybe in Alexander's case it is partly due to the differences in the roads between Germany and England? I found the 1300 ride too bouncy on the less than perfect English B roads.
