Chris, you have no end of talents! How do you manage to take such informative picures of your achievements, I am envious.

Thanks chaps. I've made a new speaker box, with a decent speaker in it. This replaces the hardboard trim panel on the side under the dash. Used 5mm ply as a backing and 12mm ply for the actual box. Sounds quite decent; just one to make for the other side now. Chris.

I thought the children would have asked for a minumum of ten speakers plus a woofer in the boot! Looks good

Two - two is all they're getting........ and here they are: Much better. Looks suitably retro, not too obtrusive and sounds decent. Chris.

Two - two is all they're getting........ Speaker & Mrs Speaker. I put mine in the doors in the A40, but that does mean you can't return it to original.

Looks quite 70's, Keef.
My original thought was to find some of those parcel shelf speakers, and tuck them into the foot wells, but they don't seem to be about anymore.
Chris.

Hint - circular marks on the windscreen. They can be little beggars to get rid of, so......... Bit of coarse woodwork, It's now sanded down, rubbed back and painted black. What is it? Chris.

Well, I'm not sure:-) Something to put the mobile phone in? Doubt it's correct though, due to the shape.. What else makes circular marks on the screen? You got me thinking here:-)

I've started sorting out the driving lights. The chrome has scrubbed up rather well. De-rusted the irons and gave them two coats of the Simoniz Very Tough Paint. Front bumper off. As the bumper irons are correctly aligned, I have left them and removed just the bumper itself. Irons for the spots offered up. Hmm - black on blue. Not the finest photo ever taken. Chris.

Light shells on the irons, bumper re-attached by outer fittings. All bolted back together, lamps and clamps in place. I like that. I like that a lot. Little bit of wiring tomorrow and it'll be done. Chris.

Those spots look really good and totally suit the Wolseley. Is this your daily driver, Chris?

Thanks, Sherpa.
It's my only car - my daily driver is a Fiat Scudo van, which I drive all day for work. Julia has a Peugeot 806, which is really the family car, so the 'Crab is really my hobby car.
Mind you, it's been to Cornwall and back once this year and it's going again in late November; as well as a few shows. I'm certainly not afraid to use her regularly.
Chris.

Ooooooooh yes! There is a four way bullet connector under the dash for the high beam feed and dash light, so I re-connected them into a six way block. This allowed me to feed a nice heavy cable up to the switch and lamp, then on to an auxilliary position on the fuse box. So, there you go. Lamps can only be activated on full beam, and there's a tell-tale lamp as well. Please with that. Chris.
