If anyone is interested, these came with my car. The purchase order form is foolscap and my scanner A4 so the BMC Retail Order Form, Purchasers Copy heading has been cropped. I have pixelated the buyers name and address.
Reverse of form
and the original sales invoice
The original car sticker for The Morris Garages is still on the car.
Interesting that the Danube Blue was by no means the first choice of colour. The car was purchased outright without the need for Hire Purchase, and the original owner had it from 1969 until 1997. I have owned her for 8 years

Very interesting. I am envious of someone who has the full history of their car from day one - brings it to life.
Had the first owner chosen hire purchase they would have been in a much more regulated Finance environment than today. The Governments of the day were forever messing around with the terms which must have annoyed car manufacturers and dealers no end. In 1969 a car buyer had to provide a deposit of at least 40% and then pay the balance over a maximum of two years.
